Evidence Based Psychotherapy with Couples
(Couples)

Evidence Based Psychotherapy with Couples; 6 hours of video from Nathan Tomcik, Ph.D. presented May 13, 2011.

There is a gap between what we do in therapy and what we know from research. This course focuses on putting recent advances in couples therapy research in to practice with useful suggestions you can apply to your work with couples immediately. It will also provide you with a good working knowledge of a Third Wave cognitive-behavioral approach to couples psychotherapy; Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy.

You will be able to build essential skills for working with couples in an evidence-based manner and learn the latest research supported approaches to intervention. You will get 6 CE for watching the 6 hour video available online and on DVD.
